Legacy Award Application

To be eligible, applicants

  • must have completed their undergraduate degrees at an accredited U.S. institution and

  • must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. graduate institution during the award period.

We advise applicants to learn more about the Pan Am 103 bombing at this website or at the Pan Am 103 Lockerbie archives at Syracuse University at https://panam103.syr.edu.

To complete this application, you must attach your resume/CF, essay and transcripts before you hit “Submit.” If you leave this page without hitting submit, none of your information will be saved.

The deadline for the applicant’s submission is February 21st.

In addition, two (2) letters of recommendation are required. You are responsible for soliciting these letters and ensuring that they are emailed to the selection committee by the recommendation dealin of February 28th (1 week after the application deadline).

You should inform your Recommenders that:

  1. Their letters should address your suitability for your proposed program of study as well as your qualifications to fulfill the goals of the VPAF103-Legacy award,

  2. The deadline for submitting letters of recommendation is February 28th (1 week after the application deadline), and

  3. Letters of recommendation should be emailed directly to the selection committee at jlorourk@victimsofpanamflight103.org.
